ROULETTE STRATEGIES & BETTING SYSTEMS TO MANAGE YOUR BANKROLL: The Six
Discover the most popular roulette strategies and the most effective betting systems to manage your bankroll and maximize your chances of winning.
THE SIX
Six System
This is one of the simplest systems and is designed for players with a small bankroll. It’s ideal for those who are satisfied with small but steady profits.
Although the system is called “Six” or “Six-Line” — referring to a bet on six contiguous numbers in two rows — the goal is actually to bet that those six numbers do not come up.
Betting Progression
Initial bet:
- 3 chips on 1–18
- 1 chip on the Six-Line 19–24
- 1 chip on the Six-Line 31–36
First Spin:
Number 13 comes up → Win 1 chip.
Since 13 belongs to the Six-Line 13–18, in the next round you must cover the entire table except that Six-Line. The new bet will be:
- 3 chips on 19–36
- 2 chips on 1st dozen (1–12)
This setup covers the whole table except Six-Line 13–18. Total: 5 chips.
If you lose, double the number of chips in the next round. According to the system, this loss only occurs once every six spins.
Second Spin:
Number 15 comes up (belongs to Six-Line 13–18) → Loss.
You're down 4 chips. Double the bet to 10 chips:
- 6 chips on 19–36
- 4 chips on 1st dozen (1–12)
The coverage is the same as before, but with twice the chips.
Third Spin:
Number 24 comes up → Win 2 chips, you're now -2 in total.
Now exclude Six-Line 19–24 and bet:
- 12 chips on 1–18
- 8 chips on 3rd dozen (25–36)
Fourth Spin:
Number 12 comes up → Win 4 chips, now +2 in total.
After winning, return to the base bet.
This time, exclude Six-Line 7–12 and bet:
- 3 chips on 19–36
- 1 chip on Six-Line 1–6
- 1 chip on Six-Line 13–18
Fifth Spin:
Number 30 comes up → Win 1 chip. And so the system continues…
Final Considerations
This system is comfortable and easy to apply once you understand the logic behind the bets. It allows for modest gains between 10 and 20 chips using a total bankroll of 200 to 300 chips, which is a common range.
As always, it’s recommended to stop playing after a good profit, either by leaving the casino or switching to another system.
Even though it's a simple system, it's advisable to have basic roulette experience to quickly place chips on the table. For this reason, practicing first in free mode is recommended.
